I lost 700 e-mail messages on Friday, all from my in-box, unsorted, some of which I'd answered, some I still needed to address. Now all I have is my atrophied memory to rely upon. Advance apologies to people I'm bound to disappoint. Don't ask me how I did it, but suffice to say that I write computer-books for a living, telling people how to create, manage, and protect documents and data, and when I wipe something out through stupidity, it stays wiped. Guess I'll cross "catch up on e-mail" off of my to-do list.... |
